Hidden Truths includes this 1863 cemetery map laid over a Google Earth image of Lincoln Park.

Lincoln Park—the actual park, not Trixie’s nabe—still houses thousands of corpses that were interred there in the mid-19th century, when the land belonged to the Chicago City Cemetery. Pamela Bannos’s conceptual art project Hidden Truths reveals how the city “forgot” these human remains.
