Building on the success of its custom-order business, Pitchfork booth and Button-O-Matic vending machines (available at Metropolis Coffee, Quimby’s and other fine establishments), Busy Beaver Button Company celebrates the grand opening of its Logan Square headquarters Saturday 8. To commemorate the event, Busy Beaver’s releasing what it claims are the first 24-karat gold buttons (pictured). Curated by Dustin “UPSO” Hostetler, the “Currency” series includes designs by Geoffrey Todd Smith, Luke Ramsey and eight other artists.
