1. Old Dogs (Nov 25) John Travolta, Robin Williams, comedy involving little kids. ’Nuff said.

2. Everybody’s Fine (Dec 4) Widower Robert De Niro travels the country trying to get in touch with his kids. You’d think that after About Schmidt, Jack Nicholson would have warned De Niro about playing sad-sack widowers.

3. Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel (Dec 25) Does someone have compromising photos of Jason Lee, Justin Long and a farm animal? ’Cause why else would they be doing a sequel to the wretched Alvin?
