The Bounty Hunter

You know it’s bad when a caper comedy makes you long for the Goldie Hawn–Chevy Chase showcases of yore, but that’s just the effect of this bad-tempered, hyperactive trifle about an NYC investigative reporter (Aniston) forced to solve a murder mystery with her bounty-hunter ex-husband (Butler) in tow. Aniston, whose tiny skirts and rampant hair-tossing eclipse her normally decent comic timing, boasts zero chemistry with her costar; and the boorish Butler seems to have shed his charm along with his Scottish accent.
