Any volunteers?

Little Brothers Friends of the Elderly, Chicago Chapter
While most opportunities to volunteer for Thanksgiving have passed, don’t discount the rest of the year. To get a jump on the winter season of giving, you can register early in one of four orientations for programs provided by Little Brothers Friends of the Elderly, an organization that helps needy seniors. Sign up to help at Christmas parties or, if you have access to transportation, register as a driver and deliver presents to those who can’t make it out. To sign up for an orientation on Dec 2, 5 or 13, contact Mary Bachman at 312-455-1000.

Chicago History Museum
Living in the past? You might as well do it right. Sign up to answer questions about the museum’s offerings or help visitors buy tickets, become members, and get comfy among the artifacts. You can also help arrange school groups and adult tour groups, and in return you’ll get a front-row seat to Chicago’s history as well as the opportunity to be part of some of the big events that take place at the museum throughout the year. Call 312-799-2274 to find out more.
