PAWS Adoption Event at Bloomingdale’s
Attention holiday shoppers: Puppies are available for adoption at Bloomingdale’s Medinah Temple. Bring a homeless pooch home for the holidays. Pet Photo Night with Santa at Northbrook Court
Bring your pets—small dogs, cats, hamsters, ferrets or birds—to the mall during three Thursdays in December to pose for a photo shoot with Santa. Reindog Parade
Now you have another reason to dress your dog in that overpriced tutu you bought for Halloween. At this huge event, canines and their owners follow Santa through the garden and compete to be the 2006 “wieners” of awards such as “Best Leash Design” and “Best Dog/Owner Costume.” Chicago Botanic Garden, 1000 Lake Cook Rd, Glencoe (847-835-5440, www.chicagobotanic.org).
