Free radicals

In 1968, Martin Luther King Jr. and Robert Kennedy were assassinated, and Vietnam protests reached a fevered pitch at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago. To mark the 40th anniversary of that turbulent year, the Chicago History Museum will host The ’68 Experience, a series of talks that kicks off Tuesday 12 with guests Bernardine Dohrn and Bill Ayers. The couple, who are still involved in social justice, were once wanted by the FBI as part of the radical Weather Underground.
