"Printervention"

Claiming FDR’s Works Progress Administration as its inspiration, this poster exhibition uses social issues as fodder for graphic design. The show, which takes place at Chicago Tourism Center Gallery, is produced by Emily Clayton, Chris Roberson and Ed Marszewski, organizers for the decidedly anarchic, hipster-laden Version Fest. We’re not sure how an anarchic group could base its curatorial decisions on a government program, but we’ll suspend logic to see artwork by designers like Nick Butcher and Nadine Nakanishi of Sonnenzimmer (pictured).
