You’ll appreciate the new Jason Middlebrook exhibition “Less” at Monique Meloche Gallery in West Town. Formerly the assistant curator at Chicago’s Museum of Contemporary Art, the überfashionable Meloche opened her contemporary gallery back in 2001. “Less,” a site-specific installation, uses garbage and scavenged materials from the streets to create a work of art that speaks of man’s relationship with nature and the concept of living with less. You’re never blinded by love’s rose-colored glasses. Enjoy the raunchy, cynical and witty humor of iO’s Cupid Has a Heart On: A Musical Guide to Relationships performed by the Cupid Players. The longest-running revue in iO history, it features songs about dating and romance. You might even pick up one or two sarcastic jokes to throw at your gal pal the next time she gushes about her love life. But don’t get too tactless.
