Team StarKid planning Batman parody musical

Team StarKid, the young Chicago–based troupe of pop-culture junkies that gained a cultlike online following with its musical parodies of Harry Potter, will skate the edges of fair use again with its next live show, Holy Musical B@man! Check out the teaser trailer above while you ponder why anyone would dare taunt the Dark Knight.

The show will preview March 16–18 and run March 22–25 at the Center on Halsted's Hoover-Leppen Theatre, where StarKid also produced last year's Starship. Admission to all performances will be free and determined by online lottery; enter here for your chance. Plans are to post the complete show to YouTube in April.
