Sondheim in the Park
It's not just Sunday in the Parkā¦, but Friday and Saturday as well. This weekend, actors and musicians will perform-for free-over a hundred Stephen Sondheim songs in every nook of Millennium Park. These 20-minute sets range in style from musical theater to chamber music to Brazilian jazz.
Friday 14
Cabarah
Lurie Garden South Stage; 4, 5pm. Cabarah performs some of Sondheim’s big-group numbers.
Jazz
Lurie Garden/Great Lawn Stage; 4:15, 5:15pm. Judy Roberts, Greg Fishman and Paulinho Garcia give these show tunes a jazz twist.
Jeremy Kahn and Friends
Wrigley Square Stage; 4:30, 5:30pm. Actors from Wicked—Heidi Kettenring, Telly Leung and Gene Weygandt—join jazz pianist Kahn.

Eighth Blackbird
Great Lawn/Lurie Garden Stage; 3:30, 4:30pm. This post-classical chamber music group will be joined by guest vocalists for original arrangements.

Sondheim on the Balcony
North Balcony Stage; 5, 6pm. Cabaret singers, such as Tom Michael and Beckie Menzie, take their turn on the balcony.
