Perry Farrell and Chromeo headline Lollapalooza after-party at Sound-Bar

It's Lollapalooza time again, and in the same way you're mapping out how to maximize your time in Grant Park, it's also time to figure out where you want to end up to keep the party going once the fest lets out. We know there's almost too much to choose from, but we're putting our money on Sound-Bar, for Friday night of Lolla weekend, at least.

Centered around Perry Farrell and his newly launched Precision Guided Musicians alias (a collaborative electronic music supergroup that includes Boston mega-jock Steve Porter, the Frenchman Joachim Garraud, Rusko and more), the night will see a DJ set from Farrell himself, as well as '80s electro darlings Chromeo; plus Rusko's main collaborator Caspa; Porter and local electro act Dark Wave Disco; its younger cousin group, Midnight Conspiracy; Brad Owen of Smart Bar fame; German dubby-downtempo duo Ancient Astronauts and New York hipster DJ Franco V.

There will surely be plenty of Red Bull and a pop-up salon and a photo booth, but we recommend popping home to clean yourself up beforehand because this is shaping up to be the place to round out the first day of another on-point Lollapalooza weekend.
