Milwaukee's 9-piece Kings Go Forth brought their soul revival to the Double Door last night, turning in a high energy performance as part of the Soul Summit dance series. The band's sound meshed perfectly with the mix of obscure R&B records being played before they took the stage, presenting a modern spin on the vintage style. Lead vocalist Black Wolf pranced around the stage, leading the group through a number of cuts from their debut record The Outsiders Are Back. The amount of talent present on-stage was truly impressive, creating an immense sound that solidified Kings Go Forth as an act that deserves to be witnessed in person.
