These were supposedly peeks at Bionic, the diva’s dive into hipster electro, the fruit of daring collabos with Le Tigre, Goldfrapp, Ladytron, etc. Drool flowed at the thought of a big-voiced pop star getting arty. But the first single safely lobs a generic, slut-by-numbers club cut to radio. Over loops that Timbaland drove into the ground eight years ago, the Mouseketeer does shots, kisses girls and drops an f-bomb. In other words, it’d be a solid banger for Britney Spears. Sorry, Xtina, but while you were away, we all got into weirdos gluing telephones to their head.
