The Owl Fifteen years ago, David Halpern and his partners opened aliveOne. Ten years ago, they opened Estelle’s. Five years ago: Easy Bar. Just in time for those bars’ anniversaries, Halpern’s opening the Owl in Logan Square. The new spot features an old-school (i.e., not digital) jukebox, 20 draft lines and a late-night license, all of which are meant to fulfill Halpern’s goal of opening “neighborhood bars that feel like they’ve been there forever.” 2521 N Milwaukee Ave (773-235-5300).
