Matt Eversman to preview OON on Oct 21

It was May when Matt Eversman announced that he was leaving Saigon Sisters and opening a restaurant of his own. Since then, very little has been released about the spot other than its name (OON Chicago), its neighborhood (the West Loop) and some small details about the concept (Southeast Asian).

On Friday, October 21, we'll all learn a little more about OON when Eversman offers a lunch dish at the Chicago French Market. The dish, which Eversman is preparing with ingredients supplied by City Fresh Market, is a steamed sole fillet with soy and sesame eggplant over rice. But perhaps it's the price of the dish that will create the most buzz about OON: It's only $5.
