NKOTB: Cereality Cereal Bar & Cafe

Killer cereal? After a year of teases, rumors and false alarms, the national chain Cereality Cereal Bar & Cafe is finally opening its doors—and milk cartons—in Chicago. The cafe serves dozens of name-brand hot and cold cereals in various ways—snack bars, smoothies, parfaits, trail mixes and, of course, in bowls with milk—all made by "cereologists" who work in their pajamas. There's even a toppings bar where you can spruce up your corn flakes with nuts, fruits or candies. The Arizona and Pennsylvania stores are positioned next to Universities, and while this downtown outpost is a departure from the formula, they're hoping to bring out the Fruit Loop in usall. 100 S Wacker Dr at Monroe St, 312-506-0010.—David Tamarkin
