GAME STOP Joe Parra calls the bar he’s opening a “neighborhood sports lounge”—the type of place you go in and watch a game, “but the game is not the dominant factor.” What, then, will there be to focus on? There are craft beers (nine on draft). And there are ambitious eats: pancetta-wrapped dates stuffed with Manchego; ancho chile–rubbed, char-grilled chicken. But for these few fleeting months when the sun is shining, our guess is most people’s attention will be on the 40-seat back beer garden. 3358 N Ashland Ave, 773-472-3358.
