War of the machines

We solicited a strawberry ice-cream recipe from West Town Tavern's Susan Goss and then put it to the test with five different makers, freezing each machine's bowl for 24 hours before pouring in ice cream mix and giving it a half-hour spin. Goss stopped by for the experiment to judge which churned out the best batch.
