Benjamin Schiller revamps Landmark's cocktail list
Since joining the BOKA Group as its head bartender, Benjamin Schiller has mainly focused on that company's eponymous flagship. This week, he unveils a new list for BOKA's sister restaurant, Landmark.
The crowd at BOKA and Landmark as significantly different from each other: The former is formal and serious, the latter louder and boozier. Schiller's list reflects these differences—his Landmark drinks are simpler, and there's a lot of vodka. You could call them quicker and easier than their counterparts at BOKA (kind of like the clientele—hey-o!).
Still, the impeccable details that Schiller is known for—and that make him a worthy nominee for an Eat Out Award—are in full effect here. Note the "smacked mint" (the herb is literally slapped to release its aroma) in the Northside, and the edible orchid that garnishes the Floral Amuse. Hell, note the whole list, which is listed after the jump.
