Uncommon Ground Edgewater

For its second location, Uncommon Ground went with a perfect space, a room that is so warm and log-cabin chic that, unfortunately, the food can’t compete. So if you’re going to make a point to visit (and you should, because once here you’ll never want to leave), go with the basics: Salads, meatloaf, their justifiably famous brunch (the Uncommon Breakfast Melt is brilliant). That way, your focus will remain on the real attraction of the place: the room.
