Hamburger Mary’s

Could anything be more fabulous than a gay hamburger chain? Not if you’re into fried food and burgers so over-the-top that they border on obnoxious. Sandwiches here are less about the meat and more about the toppings: “Buffy (the Hamburger Slayer)” packs in big flavors of red wine and aioli; the “Barbara-Q Bacon Cheeseburger” has so much on it (onion rings, barbecue sauce, bacon) it can hardly be held. If big burgers aren’t your thing, head straight for the fried Twinkies; they’re universally appealing, no matter what team you bat for.
