Average main course: $16Thought this was just a bar to belly up to with a Belgian brew in hand? One bite from the seasonal menu and you’ll know there’s much more. Carnivores can exercise their organic options with the likes of roasted spring chicken with oven-roasted artichokes, spring onions and mashed potatoes; and CB&J, a grilled sandwich of housemade cashew butter, fig jam and Morbier cheese on sourdough bread. The wait can be brutal, but somehow we keep coming back for the abuse.
