Pizza Rustica

Be warned: They’re not kidding about the “rustica” part. The space is tiny and somewhat cramped, the service is lackadaisical and sometimes entire sections of the menu are inexplicably unavailable. Yet, somehow, the pizza seems to make up for it. The rectangular slices (which arrive cut up into bite-size squares) have a buttery crust that’s crisp on the bottom but otherwise soft and fluffy. Whether topped with the savory combination of rosemary and potato, or piled with artichokes and ham (as in the quattro stagioni), the pizza’s certainly rustic, but in this case, we mean that in the best way.
