We figured since Northwestern kids pack this highly designed dim sum/noodle house nightly, we should get over our pan-Asian suspicions and try it out. The dim sum’s not really dim sum (too big and too expensive), but the moist, steamed pork bao (buns), and the one-dimensional but tasty sesame noodles make good appetizers. The toothsome Mongolian pork stir fry is sweet but not cloying, spicy but not hot. But forget about the blah salads and desserts—we’d have preferred a fortune cookie instead.
