Bite Cafe

Bite—the café adjacent to the Empty Bottle—recently got an overhaul by owner Bruce Finkelman (who also owns the insanely popular Longman & Eagle). From the breakfast “mashbrown” (a genius combination of mashed potatoes and hash browns) to the fried-chicken sandwich at lunch on through the crisp-skinned and juicy half-chicken with dozens of cloves of roasted garlic for dinner, the new food is nothing if not simple and satisfying. So if that’s what you’re into (and you don’t mind a cheery atmosphere and a generous BYOB policy), you’ll want to eat here again and again.
