The staff is as sweet as pie, the room is airy and comfortable, and the menu is affordable at this BYOB Vietnamese spot. The only downside is that compared to the stellar spots around Argyle Street, the food here is a bit standard. Skip so-so entrées and make a meal of starters like shrimp- or tofu-packed spring rolls, pineapple calamari, and shredded green papaya salad studded with bits of crunchy toasted garlic and peanuts. For something a bit more interesting, ask to hear the rotating chef's specials.
