This small, simple and slightly upscale BYOB by the owners of Beverly’s Pantry is proving that creative and contemporary food isn’t happening just on the North Side. The menu is kept to about a dozen items to focus on freshness and seasonality. In summer, for instance, heirloom tomatoes pop up everywhere: paired with crispy walleye and English peas; in a mixed green salad with goat cheese, black grapes and walnuts; and in a summer squash trio entrée.
