A sibling of Outback Steakhouse, Fleming’s aims to be an upscale, wine-focused steakhouse that doesn’t feel like a chain. With plenty of homegrown steakhouses nearby to choose from, Fleming’s throws their hat into the ring full force, competing with an impressive wine list (100 wines by the glass) and a cleverly named happy hour dubbed “5 for $6 ’til 7.” Sneak out of work early and take advantage of five cocktails, five wines and five appetizers priced at six bucks through 7pm. Portions are surprisingly generous and options like tenderloin carpaccio and crispy calamari are tasty values.
