Don't let the Strawberry Sundae roll scare you away: There's more to this sushi spot, an outpost of the Lakeview original, than tempura shrimp with strawberry sauce and cream cheese. For instance, there are batons of taro root, tempura-battered and fried. And for raw fish–phobes, there are udon noodles tossed with lots of Thai basil and sautéed chicken. Most of the menu is devoted to sashimi and extravagant maki, but the only frightening thing about the spicy, creamy Ninja roll (avocado and sweet potato topped with torched imitation crab meat) is how good it is.
