The cupcakes at this L.A. export have a homey crumb and are glazed with icing with blessed restraint. There’s no opening wide for these things—these are cupcakes that are, for once, of manageable size. That may convince you that you can eat more than one, which you probably can. Just three pieces of advice: Chocolate flavors are better than non-chocolate (the chocolate peanut butter is insane; the vanilla is just insanely sweet).
