Bread & Wine

The room, the cocktails, the food and the clientele (largely made up of groups of wine-guzzling women) give Bread & Wine the feeling of a dinner party right out of the pages of a CB2 catalog. Housemade mortadella and duck confit pierogi are hits, and so is the umami-rich chorizo-topped burger. But other dishes falter because they're boring (mini tacos), ill-executed (the sides with the otherwise excellent lamb meatloaf) or both (the smoked trout on overly toasted toast).
