The sizzling plate is piled so high with steak, bacon, chorizo, sweet grilled onions and peppers and whole jalapeños that it can barely be carried to your table. If it’s fish you’re after, whole red snapper comes many ways, including topped with veracruzana sauce packed with sweet, softened carrots and onions. After dishes like these, you’ll ditch the tiny tacos altogether.
