Nick’s Fishmarket Grill and Bar

The new Nick’s in the Merch Mart is really two restaurants in one: A formal “dining room” is sectioned off from the rest of the restaurant (“the grill”) with blue glass panels. Choose which side you want to eat in wisely: The dining room, where entrees often cost more than $40, is formal and classic. It’s not unlike an ’80s-era hotel dining room, and the buttery food is not inedible, but it’s not nuanced either. In the grill, things are more casual and much less expensive, but you get what you pay for, which, in this case, is disappointing seafood.
