With a Hemingway-inspired interior that cost upward of $2 million, Hubbard Inn is a classy space—beautiful even—with attention to detail at every turn. Too bad chef Bob Zrenner’s menu takes a bit of deft navigating to find winners (try the trout with manila clams or grilled chicken thighs with al dente rapini for fail-safes). Still, even if your meal doesn't blow you away, there are enough tasty cocktails, craft beers and eye-candy (both design and human) to at least distract you.

Who reviewed the Hubbard Inn? Must be an uptight, "wannabe food snob", who clearly knows nothing about food!! The chef at the Hubbard Inn has done a great job of combining flavors and textures. I have eaten there a number of times since they opened, and can't wait to return!

I agree, I would really like to know who wrote this review and I think next time send more than one person. I have been here 3 times and feel it's a great addition to Hubbard street.
