What’s really important to this music devotee? “Amy’s especially close with her mother. She’s always talking about mani-pedis with Mom,” says Sless-Kitain.

Says Amy: “I’ve been geeky about music since career day at age 13: I shadowed the Philadelphia Inquirer’s music critic at a Foo Fighters show. As for my potential mate’s tastes, I can’t date a jam band–lover; he can’t follow String Cheese Incident. However, I love arguing about music—so if he can bring it, he’s good. On any given night, you’ll find me where bands are—Schubas, Metro. But, I don’t drink much, and I don’t do roller coasters.”

Says Areif Sless-Kitain, associate Music editor: “Amy is a fellow Philadelphian—but without the awful accent. She’s surprisingly friendly and nice for someone who writes for Pitchfork, which is known as one of the snarkiest websites ever. As for her past relationships, she’s the type who stays friends with an ex, even one ex who dated her roommate. She’s quite a catch.”
