LAUNCH/CFI event at 900 Shops: Photos

While the Chicago Fashion Incubator is located at Macy's on State Street, the new 2011 Designers in Residence were introduced to the public a few blocks away at the 900 Shops. For the second year in a row, the Michigan Avenue mall is home to the Chicago Fashion Incubator pop-up shop. The store features designs from alumni of the program, including Kristin Hassan, Agga B and more. Throughout March and April, the shop will feature a ton of trunk shows, designer meet-and-greets and other events. (Keep an eye on the Shopping & Style listings for a complete list happenings) Last night, the shop hosted a kick-off party for fashion lovers and VIPs, where we got a chance to check out the merch and meet the newest CFI class, which includes Concetta Cipriano, Shavonne Dorsey, Eric Kipp, Kahindo Mateene, Taneasha Prunty and Crystal Simms.
