Marketing executive

HER BACKGROUND “I was recently laid off from a boutique marketing agency in the River North area. I have developed and executed brand-experience programs with Philip Morris, McDonald’s, Kraft, Bank of America, Miller Brewing Company and many others. A few years ago, I was getting calls from recruiters often and industry contacts who wanted me to jump ship and work for them.… Things have definitely changed.”

What she’s looking for “My current situation has led me to reevaluate my personal and career path, and I have decided to pursue an evening, cohort master’s degree in nonprofit management at Spertus College. Having this academic background and support will hopefully lead me to my dream job, which is working in a leadership role for a nonprofit organization and contributing my skills and hard work to making a positive impact in our Chicago community. I’m currently looking for an account-management role in a midsize to large for-profit agency or nonprofit organization where I can apply the plan-execution skills I have gained the last few years and tie in my most recent strategic-planning and business-development skills.”
