Clothing buyer
Tina Calimlim

Her background “I’m a clothing buyer who got laid off thanks to this recession, and I have several years of experience with companies such as American Eagle, Gap and, most recently, Hartmarx, the company that makes President Obama’s suits. I created men’s and women’s clothing assortments for chains and was involved in every aspect of the product from picking the fabric and color and trims to setting the retail price and managing the inventory levels.”
What she’s looking for “I love what I do and am looking to stay in the fashion industry as a buyer, but remain open to other opportunities in the industry. My dream job, though, would be wardrobe stylist for photo shoots or fashion shows. I’d also work at Harpo in a second.”
