IF YOU CAN’T BEAT ’EM, JOIN ’EM Andersonville has no shortage of home-design shops, but there’s always room for one more: Arrin Williams’s 1,500-square-foot shop is dedicated to handcrafted home decor, furniture, art and accessories. After spending three years running an online shop specializing in retro sports tees, Williams decided to channel his love of vintage and his hobby of tinkering with woodworking and furniture design into a full-blown business. Look for his house brand of furniture—a mix of rustic and industrial pieces (such as a cleaned-up, vintage stretcher and Eames chairs converted into a quirky bench) alongside a handful of other local artisans’ collections. Giftables include wood cutting boards, reusable grocery bags, locally made honey and seed bombs (dirt balls packed with regional wildflower seeds). 5507 N Clark St (773-681-0798, haymakershop.com).
