Chicago street style: Katelin Elliott

How do you describe your style?
Oh gosh. I’m one of those people who changes the way I dress depending on how I wake up feeling that morning. Sometimes, I’m a little bit more bohemian. I would say bohemian, eclectic. I like to mix high-end things that I find, obviously on sale because I am a 24-year-old grad student, with things that my mom finds at estate sales—like really cool jewelry. I like mixing.

Is your necklace from an estate sale or Cynthia Rowley?
Cynthia. She did these bar necklaces in a few colors. Actually everything I’m wearing is Cynthia Rowley right now.

What are some of your other favorite stores?
In Chicago? I would say Calvin Tran. He only has two or three stores, and his stuff is really different and unique, so I like to look there. I really like p.45 in Bucktown. And I love to go into Barneys and look…just to look and drool over everything.
