FEELING CRAFTY East Lakeview residents now have a destination for crafted goods thanks to this new gift shop in the ’hood. Inkling focuses on affordable art and locally made crafts, such as headbands by Charlotte de France ($12), poise.cc handbags ($30–$80) and limited-edition prints from Paper Parasol Press ($25). And because no gift shop is complete without stationery, owner Stephanie Keller also stocks plenty of greeting-card options. She’s also planning to host events in the space, and even dedicates one of Inkling’s walls to a rotating roster of artists (a local silk-screen artist is set to debut in the space on July 9). Keller plans to start hosting workshops and crafting nights at the store in the fall. 2917½ N Broadway (773-248-8004).
