Time warp

We all know that makeup and lotions don’t last forever—if we keep our mascara more than three months it begins harvesting bacteria, and we understand that our moisturizer isn’t good after six months. But somehow, as soon as we place them in our medicine cabinet, they become permanent. We just don’t have time to keep track of everything. So we’re grateful for the new Timestrip, techy-looking labels that affix to products to track their expiration date. Press the label to the item (they range from two weeks to 12 months), and it starts counting down until the product is no longer fresh. Sadly, now we’ll know when we should trash our favorite products. Available at timestrip.com, $14.50 for a pack of 50.
