Wheels of fortune Having grown too big for its britches, nonprofit West Town Bikes is picking up and moving into larger digs in Humboldt Park. In addition to doubling the size of its workshop space—which hosts open nights for folks to work on their own bikes as well as various cycling-centric classes for kids and adults—the brains behind the organization have opened the door to a new source of financial sustenance. A retail shop sells refurbished bikes (starting at $50) with a focus on transportation—in other words, less fixed gear, more functional rides—and new and used bike parts. 2459 W Division St (312-772-4870, westtownbikes.org).
