Follicle farming Moustaches aren’t creepy if they’re for a good cause, right? For the Moustache-A-Thon—sponsored by 826CHI, the local outpost of Dave Eggers’s youth writing program—whisker-sprouters aim to raise $10,000 to help fund free programs for students. At the first  of three ’Stache Bashes at Small Bar (2049 W Division St), growers wearing ask me about my moustache buttons checked out each other’s progress. While Andrew Slocum says growing hair is the one thing he does well, Josh Cronemeyer admits his fuzz has been called “the invisistache” (judge Jeremy Scheuch, left, said to eat “lots of protein”).
