The 1968 protesters had their lives on the line with the Vietnam War draft. We asked Chicagoans what it'd take to get them off their couches and into the streets.

Lack of education and lack of enthusiasm in school. Children need to be learning things that are practical to them and not learning things that they’ll never use. I’m studying to be a teacher for early childhood, not grade school or grammar school, so that I can try to change these things. This is something I would absolutely march for. We’re talking about the future generation of our country. If you’re ignorant, what’s your future?
