monstersvsaliens1-copy1On Wednesday, your lunch break might include a huge indestructible gelatinous mass. And no, I'm not talking about anything on the Corner Bakery menu… As part of the effort to reach out to the last three remaining citizens of the United States who don't know that DreamWorks' animated 3-D film Monsters vs. Aliens opens this Friday, B.O.B. (more formally Bicarbonate Ostylezene Benzoate), the blue blob from the flick, will be traveling up and down the Chicago River on Wednesday on Lakeshore Shoreline Cruises' flagship boat, The Voyageur, during the lunch hour (11:30am–12:30pm). You know, spotting a giant blue blob of something on the river used to be followed by accusatory looks in the direction of Gary, Indiana. Now we can look accusingly at Hollywood.
