Elvis is Alive has moved

No we haven't been taken over by the Enquirer (though I would like to tell you that the gossip rag is reporting that Bernie Mac is still alive);  we're talking about the 5K race that brings together lovers of the Hillbilly Cat. Tonight's race had been scheduled to begin at Hutchinson Field, but will now kick off at the bike path across from the Columbia Yacht Club. Hopefully that fan that was arrested during the Cubs rain delay (he was slip-sliding on the tarp) has posted bail and can enjoy the post-race Goose Island brew. In an amazing coincidence, El Vez (yes, he's a Mexican Elvis impersonator), brings his "El Vez for Prez" campaign through town for a rally at the Abbey Pub. The race steps off 6:30pm, so that should leave you loads of time to whip up a batch of your famous peanut butter–banana-bacon sandwiches for all your fellow subjects of the King.
