A little birdy tells me

... that the winner of America's Next Top Model is straight outta Humboldt Park.

I've heard that Jaslene Gonzalez wins the whole thing, making her the first Puerto Rican winner. (I've also heard that Miss Cha Cha Diva likes to hang out at Tokyo 21, where she allegedly dropped the "I'm the winner" hints).

Now, both of these things could be wrong, but I'm prone to believe the first. Why? Jas' myspace blog provides a few hints through one of those Q&A "get to know you" e-mail forwards:

"If you could have any job what would it be? i have it now
Are you continuing your education? I was untill Top Model
What was your favorite job? Modeling

Jaslene also has the requisite uplifting story (she was rejected by Top Model time after time, but ultimately triumphs!), and because sponsor Cover Girl is actively recruiting more diverse spokesmodels, having a bilingual Latina would be a smart marketing move. Plus, the other "models" all have children and Jaslene doesn't, meaning our girl can travel and promote Cover Girl like crazy without having to find a sitter."

Obviously I think about Top Model waaaay too much, but in a few weeks we'll see. My money's on Jaslene, though. And besides, we live in the same neighborhood; how can I not hope the rumors are true?
