Laugh Factory to open in East Lakeview
An outpost of LA comedy club Laugh Factory is slated to open at at 3175 North Broadway in July. From the sounds of it, they’re doing the space up right, with a $5 million dollar rehab job.

J.K. Rowling makes so much money. So much.
Heidi MacDonald over at ComicsBeat.com crunched some numbers: Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling, who is currently worth a billion dollars, give or take, makes a million pounds EVERY THREE DAYS. To me, that’s awesome.

Penis-size: It IS in his hands!
So, the idea that you can look at the size of a guy’s hands to determine whether he’s well-hung or not has been debunked many times. There’s no correlation, so you can stop looking. Oh, wait, except that a new study just found that relative finger length does have something to do with it. So, back to checking out dudes' hands, I guess.

RIP, Cy Twombly
Artist Cy Twombly, who had had the first temporary exhibition in the Modern Wing, passed away yesterday. He was one of the greats, and I’m wishing that his death was anything like the news sensation that the Casey Anthony trail is right now. Did you know that Twombly’s dad briefly pitched for the Chicago White Sox?  Neither did I.
